You are visiting the The Ship Market Power of Produce page! We call it POP!
The Ship Market will be offering POP (Power of Produce) Bucks for kids ages 5-12 the FIRST Monday of each month! Kids will be able to visit the Market Information Table and pick up their voucher to redeem for fruit or vegetables (only) at any of our produce vendors.
The voucher can only be redeemed at ONE vendor meaning it can not be broken down and spent at two different vendors. The voucher can not be saved for future Market Days as it is dated. Please visit the Market Info table to get your voucher.

POP empowered children ages five through twelve to make healthy food choices by offering educational activities, cooking demonstrations, and food sampling, in addition to providing each child with at least two dollars in market currency to spend on fresh produce. This incentive provided an effective way for children to engage in the local food system through conversations with farmers, buying local, and understanding the importance of healthy food choices.
